The shelves
Classic, vintage and current
The collection is being cataloged now. Each book is checked, described and given its Passport before it goes on a shelf.

Older and collectible titles, early printings and well-bound editions.
Vintage
Mid-century favorites, book-club editions and out-of-print finds.
Current
Recent titles in good condition, at fair prices.
Kindle editions too
Where a title has a Kindle edition, it is listed as another format with a link to Amazon.
The Passport
Every book has a past.
Each book carries a Passport from The Prudent Merchant: what edition it is, what condition it is in, and where it came from. When it leaves our house, its story goes with it.
